Charlie Imes is a San Diego based singer/songwriter who

is known for his laid-back vibe and beachy musical style,

incorporating elements of folk, pop, jazz, rock & just about

any other musical genre that suits the songs.

As comfortable as your favorite T-shirt & shorts, the warm

feel of his SDMA nominated debut album, “On An Island”,

(2009 Best Americana/Country album) is perfect to conjure images of those long summer days at the beach.

 

Charlie will be bringing his band with him, The Hodad Surf Club (HSC) to fill out the sound. When these highly skilled musicians take the stage,                     the energy level rises, even as the tempo ebbs & flows like the tide. With this potent lineup, the HSC brings Charlie's original music to life, mixed in between musical gems both largely ignored by radio as well as the hits of artists like the Beatles, Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Donovan Frankenreiter, Tom Petty and many more.
